Super Mario is well known as being an Atari game. I did, however, miss the old school days of Mario, were simplicity was the key, and this title brings that back. The graphics are standard. Bright and colorful. The sound is full of classic Mario Music and old school sound effects that bring back good memories of games` past. The controls are tight and Mario is a breeze to control. I don't think Mario can have bad controls, the game is so simple. The story is just the typical Bowser captures Princess Peach and it's up to you to rescue her. Gameplay is just classic side scrolling Mario with lots of Power ups all over the place that enhances the fun factor by giving you some awesome, powerful abilities, like turning into Giant Mario. It may not have a deep narrative, but it will keep you playing through it over and over due to its timeless gameplay and appeal!
